Painter - Facilities Management - Full Time (1.0) - Day Shift

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Group Leader and/or Maintenance Supervisor, the Painter provides all aspects of painting, refurbishing and maintaining the interior and exterior decor with little or no supervision.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Familiar with the safe use of all hand and power tools related to the position.
• Understanding of local building and hospital codes
• Ability to understand and complete preventative maintenance programs.
• Have some general electrical and mechanical experience
• Working knowledge of snow plow operations
• Able to hang and finish sheet work.
• Familiar with all types of painting and staining
• Experience with wall papering
• Experienced with furniture refinishing
• Basic experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing
• Experience in acoustic grid work and ceilings
• Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Skilled tradesman with a minimum of 5 years experience
