Internal Auditor

Position Location:  Carmel, IN, 

Would you like to be part of a high performing team that serves an integral part of evaluating internal control designs / testing of various MISO internal control processes within Finance, Operations, Support functions and Information Technology based on approved audit plan and audit risk assessment?   

 As an Internal Auditor, you will perform complex and technical audits related to operations, systems, and finance. This position will interact daily/weekly/monthly with executive and senior levels of the MISO management teams. This person will be required to perform assignments with limited supervision and be expected to facilitate/coach and mentor business area owners on internal control development, execution and monitoring. Will serve integral part of evaluating internal control designs / testing of various MISO internal control processes within Finance, Operations, Support functions and Information Technology based on approved audit plan and audit risk assessment.

In one year as an Internal Auditor, you will know you were successful if:

• You are able to use critical thinking skills to identify control gaps that introduce risks to the organization. 
• Have become an integral part of the Internal Audit Team. 
• Developed relationships across the organization in order to provide value in the audit process. 

We are looking for energetic and dedicated employees who have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science or Engineering

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and / or other professional designation (e.g., CCSA, CRISA, CISM, CGEIT, CISSP, CFE).

• Ability to develop, communicate, and coordinate project plans and projects

• Comprehension of complex business scenarios; including the ability to define problems, collect & analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

•  Understanding NERC, FERC Regulatory Compliance Requirements

We would also prefer candidates with the following:

• Data extraction and analytical tools similar to ACL, IDEAL, SAS, CANAUDIT

• Multi-task and prioritize multiple projects

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
