As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will drive the design and development of our Client Platform solutions. Your responsibility will be to transform NVIDIA's client platform into a modern configuration management service that is reliable, stable, and secure. You will work side by side with NVIDIA engineers around the world, as an equal member of a team of high achievers.

What you will be doing

• Leading client platform initiatives including design, writing code, and performing deployments.

• Collaborating with other engineering teams across NVIDIA to drive the execution of meaningful products for the business.

• Building automation and APIs across our configuration management tools.

• Help in continuously setting the standard of our code quality and security.

• Participate in hiring across the org

What we need to see:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 12+ years experience in DevOps, with a focus on Client Engineering

• Strong automation experience

• Strong systems engineering background, in Linux and/or Mac

• Proficiency in simple, yet efficient systems design

• Good communications skills and ability and desire to work as a great teammate

• Good Experience in Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Python expertise

• Experience in AWS or Azure

• Comprehensive understanding of client security including VPN

The base salary range is 232,000 USD - 368,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
