Collins Aerospace is seeking a high-energy, dynamic team player to join our Shipping and Receiving team at our Everett, WA facility. In this critical role, you will support our sustaining business across three key value streams: Cabin Integration, Lavatory, and Water Systems. As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory procedures are meticulously followed to maintain smooth and efficient processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Receive shipment requirements for delivery and follow procedures to include routing guidelines.
  • Prepare shipping papers and ensure completeness of details and requirements based on Global Trade compliance and Government Agency requirements.
  • Book shipments with various couriers and forwarders.
  • Adhere to functional group KPI and provide feedback for opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain records and keep documents of all shipments based on requirements.
  • Drive company vehicles consisting of panel vans and 26’ box trucks to transport materials.
  • Load/unload inbound/outbound shipments validating material against shipping documentation.
  • Use of material handling equipment to include screw guns, etc.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • General housekeeping.
  • Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function.

Qualifications We Require:

  • Typically requires a HS diploma and 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
  • Obtain forklift certification
  • Computer skills to include data entry of received materials, entering shipping information, etc.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Knowledge of SAP and Excel (look ups, pivot tables).
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Previous shipping/receiving experience
  • Experience performing Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States classifications
