The Content Studio is WCS’s on-site production capability. We are a team of creative makers who are experts in the intersection of craft and technology necessary to tell the most innovative and compelling stories through experiences, art, design, video, photography, motion graphics, animation, and sound.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a Senior Stylist to join our creative team and take charge of all aspects of styling in our studio. You will help to inform and govern the overall look and feel of the studio’s output to ensure it aligns with stakeholder and creative expectations. You will build relationships with merchant teams, brand design, and various creative teams to interpret and cascade out through the imaging teams. This role requires a strong eye for detail, creativity, and leadership skills. The Lead Stylist will oversee styling across all categories, train and mentor new stylists, develop design concepts, and manage props, ensuring a high standard of visual presentation. You thrive on set, in a fast-paced environment that is efficient and treats everyone with respect to ensure all teams can do their best work. Responsibilities
- Styling & Creative Execution:
- Lead all styling efforts across all photography, especially food..
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Develop and execute styling concepts to enhance visual storytelling.
- Provide hands-on styling, from flat lays to on-set food, and room styling.
- Stay up to date with styling trends and industry best practices to elevate styling execution.
- Training & Leadership:
- Train and mentor new and junior stylists on best practices, studio workflow, and styling techniques.
- Provide feedback and guidance to ensure styling meets creative and technical standards.
- Collaborate with photographers, producers, and the creative team to execute projects efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of organization and ensure all styling work meets deadlines.
- Prop Management & Organization:
- Oversee and maintain an organized prop inventory, ensuring accessibility for all team members.
- Identify gaps in prop selection and strategize new purchases to enhance studio capabilities.
- Work within a budget to source, purchase, and maintain high-quality props.
- Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and cataloging of all props and styling materials.
- Collaboration & Workflow Management:
- Work closely with photographers, producers, merchandisers, and clients to achieve project goals.
- Participate in pre-production meetings to align styling direction with creative briefs.
- Develop and document styling guidelines and standards for consistency.
- Assist in refining studio workflows and improving styling efficiency.
