Role Summary

The Marketing Effectiveness - Insights and Optimizations team is responsible for insights generation; A/B testing; and measurement of all Marketing initiatives, including NYL.com, sponsorships, brand, content, Field Marketing, and lead generation.

As a Sr. Associate on our team, you’ll be supporting reporting, conducting analyses, and generating insights for Marketing’s lead programs and sponsorships – as well as creating dashboards in relation to these programs on Adobe Analytics. The right candidate will be eager to dive into a variety of data sources, ranging from internal business data, media performance and web analytics. This role will work collaboratively across the marketing organization, serving as a partner to stakeholders, and be self-motivated to deliver insights in a digestible format that helps stakeholders drive results against a set of strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own reporting and insights generation for targeted marketing lead generation programs; this will include KPI tracking, monthly reporting, and content measurement as it pertains to these programs
  • Build advanced reports, Adobe Analytics dashboards and visualizations that explain and track performance against KPIs
  • Provide strategic analysis of marketing campaign and lead funnel activities to inform media investment decisions, content selection and lead distribution
  • Proactively identify trends and variances to program performance plan, and present findings to stakeholders
  • Partner with stakeholders for ad-hoc requests, and serve as a resource for performance-related questions
  • Support with providing/receiving data to/from media, creative and experiential agencies

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Understanding of digital marketing, paid media and web analytics
  • Strong written and verbal skills to present and explain insights
  • Ability to interpret and synthesize data into a compelling strategic recommendation or narrative; and combine technical skills, business acumen and creative curiosity
  • Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally across varying levels of the organization

 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business or Marketing function; Statistics knowledge a plus
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a marketing analytics role
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • Experience with data visualization tools, Tableau preferred
  • Experience with Web Analytics tools, Adobe Analytics preferred

Salary range: $85,000 - $125,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt
