Responsibilities

Job Summary: Monitors and analyzes security activities from Security Operations Center (SOC).What is the work? (other duties may be assigned)Security:- Monitors by video, all entry and exit points for pedestrian and vehicle traffic on proprieties and facilities owned and operated by H-E-B- Manages the Security Operations Center for assigned site, utilizing video management and access control systems - Prioritizes workload based on urgency; delegates tasks- Responsible for the intake and coordination of serious incident reports- Performs routine duties with little or no supervisionCommunications:- Communicates with a range of audiences- Responsible for conducting security site surveys- Responsible for completing security reports- Communicates incidents with a sense of urgency, and in a timely mannerPreferred Education and Experience- High school diploma or equivalent (2 years of higher education preferred)- 3+ years of experience in security- Experience as a guard (preferred)Preferred Key Competencies- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel- Strong verbal / written communication skills- Decision-making skills- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks- AdaptabilityPhysical and Other Requirements- Must have a neat, professional appearance and report to work in a complete and clean assigned uniform- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays- Work extended hours / sit for extended periods- Work rotating schedules- Occasionally lift 20 lbs or more- Hand / finger dexterity; use arms / hands in repetitive motion during the day12-2015
