ASPIRE is a Roche-wide business transformation program that aims to deliver best-in-suite, user-centric digital solutions for Roche that will help manage our company as efficiently as possible.  At the center of ASPIRE is the One Roche Enterprise, the future of our current enterprise landscape. ASPIRE is co-creating one harmonized process house across the Roche enterprise, with SAP S/4HANA at its core - a technology that will replace Roche’s existing and soon outdated SAP local and regional systems. By following a template approach within SAP,  available to all Roche entities around the globe, our core business processes will become more integrated, simplified, harmonized, and scalable.

The ASPIRE PMO Wave Lead supports the project management of the ASPIRE Indianapolis Megasite Wave 5b associated with the wave deployment. In this role, you will have the accountability for owning the program management methodology and planning for the successful go-live of this wave. 

*Please note that this is a Fixed Term position with an approximate end date of June 2027 (30 month Term)*

The Opportunity

• You provide guidance, operationalize and monitor the execution of work, constantly connecting our delivery organization. You are responsible for ASPIRE Methodologies and Governance and to execute PMO processes. This includes Backlog Management process and tools. 

• You manage PMO activities in close collaboration with the Wave 5b Deployment Lead for the Indianapolis Megasite across the deployment streams (RDO, RDC, RSS). This includes driving PMO activities associated with the project and working closely with the PMO Coordinators, Deployment Leads, Wave Service and Functional E2E teams, and implementation partner(s) to ensure successful delivery of the program.

• You incorporate and enhance functional/project activities in the overall plan to ensure milestones are properly linked to overall milestones (critical path)

• You work closely with the Cluster PMO in ensuring best practices in project management are applied throughout the project lifecycle

• You provide direction and guidance to PMO team members (PMO Coordinators) and coordinate activities in order for the project and functional teams to meet established milestones.

• You execute the Change Control Process for the respective areas of responsibility. You ensure any additional templates and documentation management tools otherwise not provided by the program are in place to support the teams as needed.

• You drive reporting activities and provide accurate status updates and reporting. This includes executing operational project management for the wave level activities (risk, Issue, assumptions, decisions management and scope management).

• You are accountable for implementation & management of status & progress reporting.

Who you are

• You hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in related specialization areas.

• You have proven experience in a project management, consulting and/or client-facing environment

• You have 10+ years’ experience leading and mentoring project teams on relevant engagements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• You have strong Project Management skills and proven leadership in running successful PMO organizations.  This includes strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact across multiple levels of the organization and have demonstrated ability to successfully direct, coordinate, and strategically integrate multiple streams of information and activities.
