Manager Maintenance

Summary:

This role will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair and upkeep of the equipment and facilites. This role will oversee a team of maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.

Essential Functions:

• Develops and implements maintenance procedures
• Delegates inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Plan and oversees all repair and installation activities
• Oversees workload allocation to staff
• Oversees equipment inventory, placing orders as needed
• Participates in annual budget planning process.  Routinely tracks expenses against budget
• Manages relationships with contractors and service providers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, administration or facility management. May consider relevant work experience in lieu of degree
• 6+ years of experience 
• Proven experience in managing a team of maintenance staff and contractors
• Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and techniques
