We are looking for a Seasonal Maintenance Assistant in Weyauwega, WI. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for general maintenance and compliance with all rules and regulations within the production area.  This position requires being proactive and responding to priority issues in a systematic manner.

What this role is all about:

• Provide general and preventative maintenance within production plant, retail store and warehouse as needed.

• Operate forklift as needed.

• Perform perimeter checks as scheduled.

• Provide transportation of parts as needed.

• Perform grounds maintenance on property as needed (snow removal, lawn care, garbage removal).

• Complete daily testing of water softeners, boilers, utility chemicals, air compressors, etc.

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• On-site training provided

• 1 year experience in a related field

• Communicate well both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.

• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.

• Ability to apply logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.

​Where you’ll be working:

Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately 225 employees. This facility produces award-winning feta and aged cheddar cheese, as well as lactose and reduced lactose whey.   Agropur’s US operations produce approximately 1 billion pounds of quality, award winning cheese each year.  The US operations produce more than 20 different cheese varieties along with whey protein and dry ingredients.
