Description
The Woods College of Advancing Studies at Boston College is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of the Practice in Applied Economics. Duties include active supervision of student research projects, student advisement, and teaching in the program. The program is offered both in face-to-face and online modalities. Teaching responsibilities include a variety of core courses such as Microeconomic and Macroeconomic Theory, Data Analysis and Econometrics, as well as analytics-oriented electives, particularly in the area of Machine Learning and AI.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related quantitative field; a record of excellent teaching and student engagement; and a demonstrated knowledge (through research or experience) of the application of economic principles to industry and/or commerce.
