We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Security Architect to lead and advise a cybersecurity transformation program. This role will involve designing, leading, and overseeing the implementation of advanced security architectures, strategies, and best practices, ensuring the organization's cybersecurity posture evolves in line with business needs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Security Operations and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) implementation.

What You'll Do:

  • Cybersecurity Transformation Leadership: In partnership with Transformation Program Director, lead the development and execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity transformation strategy. Technical advisor to senior leadership and stakeholders on aligning the cybersecurity program with business objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) Expertise: Design and implement robust security architectures based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). Provide guidance on integrating the CSF into the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, policies, and processes, ensuring alignment with operational and risk management goals.
  • Security Architecture Design: Lead the development of advanced security solutions that protect the organization’s critical assets. Ensure designs are scalable, secure, and efficient while adhering to cybersecurity best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Advisory Role: Provide expert-level advice and recommendations on security technologies, operations, processes, and incident response strategies. Act as the primary cybersecurity advisor to leadership and other key stakeholders, influencing decision-making on security strategies, risk management, and transformation efforts.
  • Risk Management and Governance: Identify potential cybersecurity risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. Ensure that security solutions comply with relevant security regulations and internal governance frameworks, including continuous assessment and improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (e.g., IT, legal, compliance, and operations) to ensure that cybersecurity strategies are integrated seamlessly into the broader organizational ecosystem. Drive collaboration across departments to promote a culture of security and risk awareness.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to security engineers, analysts and other cybersecurity professionals. Foster an environment of continuous improvement, technical innovation, and a proactive security mindset.
  • Security Tools & Technology Oversight: Guide the evaluation of appropriate security solutions for threat detection, vulnerability management, identity and access management (IAM), and incident response.

What You've Done:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in security architecture or a related field.
  • Expertise in NIST CSF and its application across an enterprise environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Managed Security Services (MSS) and their integration into a corporate security strategy.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing security architectures for complex systems.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex cybersecurity transformation roadmaps and strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
