About the role
Overview
This is a provisional appointment.
Under general direction, the Liaison Agent II will perform tasks of moderate difficulty for the Sexual Assault Unit.
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the flow of information and communication between the Sexual Assault Unit, District Attorney's Office, and state and local law enforcement agencies.
- Providing administrative support to the Unit's investigators and Commander, including answering phones, typing correspondence, and legal documents.
- Providing service referrals to victims who call into the Unit for assistance.
- Maintaining highly confidential files.
- Scheduling as well as the maintenance and ordering of all supplies and equipment to the Unit.
- Performing related work as required.
Minimum Entrance Qualifications
- Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of paid professional experience in administrative work, the primary responsibilities of which are dealing with highly confidential information.
- Due to the confidential nature of this position, preference will be given to those applicants with experience working in such an environment.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Google Suite.
