Further information about Lear is available at lear.com or on Twitter @LearCorporation.</p> <p> </p> <p>To our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team covering Europe and Africa region we are looking for passionate and dedicated Industry 4.0 Vision Systems Senior Application Engineer. Application Engineer will support the execution of the Industry 4.0 projects for introducing intelligent Vision control applications into EU &amp; Africa JIT and Structures Plants, as part of the EU I4.0 strategy. Working as part of the Integration Team, this includes identifying opportunities, preparing technical concept, and programing Vision control applications. Engineer will report to Project and Plant Management, communicate with Suppliers, support the creation of Business cases with the Plant teams, share lessons learned and opportunities to refine the standard solutions. </p> <p> </p> <p>Scope Of Duties:</p> <p>• Develop algorithms and techniques for image and video processing, object detection and recognition, and other computer vision applications i.e., Cognex, LMI </p> <p>• Responsible for engineering advanced application and system integration projects, in the automotive manufacturing environment </p> <p>• Responsible for technical support ranging from pre-sales evaluations to post-sales support and installation of machine vision products used in factory production. </p> <p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, and product managers, to integrate the computer vision system with other technologies </p> <p>• Ensuring conformance to Lear Standards and any lessons learned from previous projects </p> <p>• Work with hardware and software components, such as cameras, sensors, and machine learning frameworks, to integrate them into the computer vision system </p> <p>• Analyze and evaluate the performance of computer vision systems and identify areas for improvement </p> <p>• Support the creation of Industry 4.0 Playbook, aligned to Corporate I4.0 direction, as required </p> <p>• Ensure training is effectively provided for all key stakeholders in the Plant </p> <p>• Ensure all project documentation is correct and understood for all key stakeholders in the Plant </p> <p> </p> <p>Your Profile:</p> <p>• Degree in Technical Field </p> <p>• Experience and working knowledge of vision application in a manufacturing environment  </p> <p>• Experience and working knowledge of robotic programming will be additional advantage  </p> <p>• Willingness for further development of vision and laser scanning system knowledge to become subject matter expert within region </p> <p>• Min. 4 years of professional experience </p> <p>• Communication English </p> <p>• Willingness and flexibility to travel within the role (up to 50% à first year focus on Poland &amp; Slovakia) </p> <p>• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and strategic approach </p> <p>• Good communicator – comfortable in presenting to experts’ community </p> <p>• Strong working knowledge of MS Office </p> <p> </p> <p>We Offer:</p> <p>• Opportunity to growth as subject matter expert within the EU &amp; Africa region </p> <p>• Individual development plan includes internal and external trainings </p> <p>• Stable employment: the largest employer among automotive suppliers, for 25 years on the Polish market </p> <p>• Projects implementation with international engineering society </p> <p>• Working environment that values diversity </p> <p>• Opportunity to participate in community support activities (CSR) </p> <p>• Additional benefits: medical care, group insurance, absenteeism bonus, holiday subsidies, meal subsidies, language training </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>#LI-AS3</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
