JOB SUMMARY:

 

Install, functional test and troubleshoot avionics/electrical systems.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Functional test and repair electrical, electronic and communication systems during assembly and flight test of production aircraft.

  • Work from airplane orders, schematic drawings, engineering specifications, inspection records, standard shop practices, oral and written instructions to functional test a variety of standard and optional electrical and electronic systems under minimum supervision.

  • General supervision needed in order the complete tasks plus additional on the job training required.

  • Assists with finding solutions in order to solve problems.

  • Listens to concerns and responds appropriately based on feedback given through the learning curve.

  • Identify need for improvements and provides recommendations for safety improvements.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:

0-2 years avionics and electrical experience is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Daily tasks are completed without supervision.

  • A self-starter and takes the lead on important projects to completion.  

  • Excellent problem-solving skills. 

  • Action oriented and takes on challenges.

  • Team oriented, self-driven and safety conscious.

  • Goal-oriented and driven to meet and/or exceed quality expectations.

  • Will be required to follow all safety guidelines for procedures and equipment, and actively participate in daily ergonomic stretching exercises.
