This role is vital in ensuring the flawless execution of repacking, transport coordination, and Bill of Materials management, while keeping a close eye on compliance and quality standards aligned with market and legal requirements.</p><p><strong>Your Role at West Coast</strong></p><p>As a Senior VAS Specialist, you will work independently and have broad decision-making authority across VAS operations. You will take ownership of end-to-end order flow processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly from warehouse to customer. A big part of your role involves identifying inefficiencies and leading optimization initiatives, continuously improving the way we work. You will be the go-to expert for colleagues and stakeholders when it comes to supplier management, compliance frameworks, and the operational impact of entering new markets. In addition, you’ll take the lead on small cross-functional projects, working with teams across logistics, finance, and supply chain. Your ability to think ahead, act autonomously, and maintain high operational standards will directly impact our success in delivering reliable, high-quality service.</p><p>If you're an experienced logistics professional with a structured approach, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for operational excellence — this is your opportunity to make a real impact.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul> <li>Oversee end-to-end VAS processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Independently manage order planning, supplier contracts, and operational forecasting. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Serve as the key decision-maker for operational challenges and supplier escalations. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Lead process optimization, cost management, and continuous improvement initiatives. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Monitor and report on service quality, financial KPIs, and SLAs, identifying and implementing improvements. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Provide expert advice on legal, regulatory, and quality compliance in trade and packaging. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Lead multiple projects aimed at optimizing logistics and supply chain workflows. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Establish and monitor SLAs with transporters, working closely with internal stakeholders. </li> </ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul> <li>MBO Level 4+ education (logistics background preferred)</li> <li>Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in VAS or supply chain operations</li> <li>Strong understanding of supply chain processes and compliance</li> <li>Certification: Straight Connector 1, Shape (or equivalent)</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in complex environments</li> </ul><p><strong>Being part of West Coast Supply Group means:</strong></p><p>Having the freedom to find your own winning formula.
