Product Manager II

In Azure AI, we’re ensuring responsible development and deployment of the next generation of cutting-edge generative AI models like GPT-4. If you join our Responsible AI team, you will join an organization committed to partnering with stakeholders across policy, research, and engineering to help every product team in Microsoft ship these evolving technologies responsibly. 

On the Responsible AI team, we work to ensure that each new product or technology we build is developed and used responsibly.  In this role, you will drive Responsible AI product innovation to design and develop new technologies to address the potential risks of emerging AI and enable developers to successfully and safely use it in real-world applications. 

As a Product Manager II for Responsible AI, you will collaborate closely with design, applied science, and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate our cutting-edge Responsible AI technologies into various AI Platform product interfaces. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that these technologies provide an exceptional and user-friendly experience, directly influencing how customers engage with our AI-driven products and features. 

This role requires a deep understanding of generative AI use cases and responsible AI, a keen sense of product to support responsible AI commitments while keeping product innovation in mind, you will need experience in crafting exceptional customer experiences and a technical background to develop responsible AI measurement and mitigation techniques.

Responsibilities

As a product manager for Responsible AI, you will build great product experience and drive state-of-the-art products that enable customers to apply AI responsibly. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Develop a deep understanding of generative AI technology, customer use cases, and responsible AI practices. 

• Perform user studies to map out user journeys and validate design hypotheses. 

• Spend significant time with customers, homing in on successful patterns and trends to drive new product design and development.  

• Partner closely with CxE, designers, engineers and scientists to design easy to use and delightful user experience of RAI technologies. 

• Leverage data-driven insights to understand usage patterns and define, track, and drive key product experience metrics. 

• Be an evangelist for the technology
