We keep our Founder’s Associate roles on a 9–12 month rotation, followed by a smooth transition into a department that fits your strengths and interests (given a successful traineeship). 

Your profile

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Drive tozero’s vision by working closely with Sarah, our co-founder and CEO, to push forward day-to-day tasks and implement strategic initiatives
• Support Sarah on all fronts by handling external & internal communication via phone and email, managing the scheduling and preparation of meetings, and maintaining various records and documents for the company executives
• Demonstrate exceptional prioritization skills and stakeholder management (external and internal), including the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics and collaborate effectively with diverse personalities in a fast-paced startup environment
• Take on diverse tasks across the company, showcasing your willingness to tackle challenges wherever they arise. That may entail identifying new business opportunities, executing data analysis to prepare crucial strategic decisions and handling government relations
• Represent the company anywhere and everywhere, such as a true spokesperson. May it be on stage, pitching for competitions and boosting our positioning. You should also not shy away from marketing campaigns. You might be even leading our next legendary tozero Day where we bring the industry, friends and partners together as a true thought leader.
• Demonstrate versatility and ownership when managing your own projects - at tozero you will get responsibility and accountability from day one
• Work closely with experienced peers from various backgrounds, shaping your understanding of how to deliver best results for given problems
• Critically question, analyze, and improve existing processes with a first principle approach. We constantly aim to enhance our existing setup with maximum efficiency. What you need to succceed

• Experience: You have initial experience in a fast-paced environment, such as in a startup, consultancy or investment banking
• Qualification: You are currently studying as a Bachelor, Master, or MBA student, or recently graduated from university
• Languages: Your English and German are fluent; any additional language is a plus
• Problem Solving: You can break complex problems into smaller ones, enjoy working with data, make good business cases, and convince people to help you execute.
• Proactiveness: You are autonomous and self-motivated, able to tackle different initiatives and adapt to a constantly changing and highly demanding work environment.
• Prioritization: You have exceptional abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle diverse stakeholders
• Flexibility: Willingness to take on a wide range of tasks and swiftly address urgent challenges across various departments
