<h2>Overview</h2> <p>For informal enquiries please contact: Ciarán Sharpe, Head of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering, Mobile: 087-3410309</p> <p>Email: ciaran.sharpe@hse </p> <p> </p> <p>The Senior Clinical Engineering Technician will be responsible for carrying out all Clinical Engineering duties within the current team to support the services in Connolly Hospital, Surgical Hub and Cuan Aoibheann</p> <h2>Essential Criteria</h2> <p><strong>Candidates must, at the latest date for receipt of completed applications:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Hold as a minimum a recognised qualification at <strong>National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) Level 7 / Quality &amp; Qualification Ireland Certification (QQI) </strong>or higher, in one of the following,</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Electronic</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Electrical</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Instrument Physics</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Industrial Instrumentation</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Applied Physics</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Mechanical</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Mechatronic</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Biomedical Engineering</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>                                                                            Or </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Hold a recognised qualification at least equivalent to one of the above.</p> <p><strong>                                               </strong></p> <p><strong>                                                                                  And</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <ul> <li>Have a minimum of three years postgraduate satisfactory and relevant experience in an appropriate medical industrial field, including at least three years in a clinical engineering environment.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>                                                                                   And</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p>Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability(including a high standard of suitability and administrative capacity) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Related attachement </p> <p> </p>Senior Clinical Engineering Technician Connolly <p> </p> <p>HSE Dublin North East Region is an equal opportunities employer</p>
