Job Description:
In your role as Deputy Director of Global Physical Security Operations, your primary mission is to spearhead the development and oversight of a robust security infrastructure and guard force operations. Reporting to the Director of Global Corporate Security, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and refining a security framework that meets our global needs. This includes the strategic enhancement of guard force management, access control, surveillance, and emergency protocols, ensuring comprehensive protection for our employees, facilities, and assets worldwide, while advancing our company's overarching mission and strategic goals.

Your Role:
As the Deputy Director of Global Physical Security Operations, you will lead efforts with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive security strategy across all facets of the organization. Collaborating closely with departments such as Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, Communications, and Facilities, you will be the cornerstone in the development of the Global Physical Security Program. Your role is critical in devising sophisticated protection strategies, overseeing comprehensive crisis management protocols, and directing robust security training initiatives to ensure the safety and security of our global operations and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment and management of a comprehensive in-house guard force, ensuring its seamless integration into the global physical security strategy.
  • Oversee the entire spectrum of global physical security operations, prioritizing the safety of personnel, assets, and facilities in every region.
  • Advance global emergency preparedness and crisis management in collaboration with Anduril's Crisis and Emergency Management program.
  • Craft and implement innovative security policies and procedures to continuously address the evolving global threat landscape.
  • Ensure the effective use and enhancement of security systems and technology in partnership with the Global Security Systems and Infrastructure team.
  • Perform global risk assessments to develop and execute strategies that proactively mitigate security risks.
  • Maintain and update security plans and SOPs to uphold uniform security standards across all operations.
  • Allocate and manage security resources for global corporate events, working with relevant teams to provide comprehensive security coverage.
  • Direct the selection and management of security personnel and consultants internationally, aligning with our global security objectives.
  • Lead global incident management and crisis response efforts in coordination with the Global Security Operations Center.
  • Drive the enhancement of physical security infrastructure through the adoption of advanced technologies and best practices.
  • Administer and optimize global security budgets for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement a standardized global visitor management system to support secure access control.
  • Stay ahead of global security trends to ensure our strategies and operations remain proactive and responsive.
  • Support and implement the strategic direction and operational execution of global security physical operations to ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and facilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of progressive security experience, preferably within a multi-national corporation.
  • Hands-on, strategic, capable of guiding teams, influencing, and inspiring staff, with strong knowledge of corporate security protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability in incident/crisis management and relationship-building at all organizational levels.
  • Travel requirement: Approximately 20%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior law enforcement or military police experience is a plus, but not required
  • At least 5 years of experience in people management and leading teams or projects, with the ability to manage resources effectively.
