The Activities Operations Coordinator position at Southall Farm & Inn is rewarding and challenging. The position requires overseeing training systems, scheduling processes, certifications, and operational readiness for the Activities team. This role ensures programming is executed safely, efficiently, and to luxury standards. The individual can expect to work in collaboration with the activities team as well as reservations and guest services. Every day will be different as you coordinate, plan, and execute leisure as well as group-focused programs and ensure anticipatory service from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Manages ADP scheduling
- Leads Service Harmonies participation and execution
- Leads Certified Trainer Program
- Leads staff activities coordination
- Oversees ropes training and certifications, ensuring safety compliance and operational readiness
- Provides backup support for new program development (focus-specific initiatives)
- Backs up End-of-Day recaps
- Backs up Group postings in Micros
- Coordinate Team Quest programming
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by Southall Leadership

Skills & Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire
- Operate and work outside in extreme hot and cold environments
- Ability to work Tuesday – Saturday of every week
- Some of your daily work will be guests facing, and you will be required to greet guests politely
- Must demonstrate the ability to stay focused and efficient without supervision
- Good communication, teamwork, and a solution-based attitude are all MUSTS
- Pass a background check, obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexibility for working weekends and holidays
- Customer service experience
- Ability to speak in front of groups of 10 or more people
