Job Description includes providing the following but is not limited to:
- ADL Care: Personal Hygiene, Dressing, Eating, Mobility, Continence/Restroom assistance, etc.
- Organizing and/or partaking in outings/community events with your member/family.
- Teaching life skills: Helping our members build confidence in their abilities, engage in meaningful activities, promote social skills, cognitive development and physical well-being.,
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Monitor and document (daily) client's progress, and changes in behavior or health.
Our mission is to establish enduring relationships with those we support, earning their trust through compassion, dependability, and the creation of lasting memories.
Our ideal candidate:
- MUST be able to handle physically aggressive behaviors and de escalate.
- MUST be a driver to be able to take client out in the community
- Be active for potential elopement risks
- Be able to handle verbal aggression and de escalate
- Own a smartphone or mobile device - Required for clocking in and out.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Hold CPR and First Aid certifications/Willing to obtain upon hire at employee cost.
- 1+ years of experience as a: Care provider, teacher's aide, support staff, behavior management, or similar.
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Understand the importance of confidentiality.
- Be able to pass a background check.
This member does require transportation, to ensure their safety you will be asked to present a valid driver's license and auto insurance upon hire.
