The 10-week summer Internship Program based in Charlotte, NC is for rising seniors who want real growth, real purpose, and real impact. Our interns aren’t on teams to own grunt work - their days are designed to overflow with opportunities for growth by taking ownership of meaningful projects that drive business impact. Through the Internship Program, you’ll have access to mentorship, exposure to industry experts, direct team collaboration, and a high cadence of feedback to set you up for success as you work towards a potential return offer for the Rotational Program at the end of the summer. Students who apply to the Accounting & Finance Internship program will be placed either in an Accounting role or a Financial Planning & Analysis role for the 10-week duration. What You’ll Do
- As an Accounting & Finance Intern at RVO Health, you will have the opportunity to work on industry leading brands that are a part of a portfolio that helps 100 million people a month.
- Within Accounting, you will support month-end closing process, preparation of company financial statements and enter monthly journal entries with detailed monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating company’s financial records, including general ledger, fixed asset management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable using generally accepted accounting principles and practices. Accountants will also collaborate in process improvement initiatives, including formalization of control procedures for selected cycles, documentation preparation for external auditors, ensuring proper controls are in place, and ad-hoc project analysis.
- Within Financial Planning & Analysis, you will support our planning process, including strategic alignment, annual forecasting, and resource allocation. You'll maintain rolling monthly and annual forecasts and participate in regular financial reviews in partnership with Business Leaders. Responsibilities include ability to gather, consolidate, and analyze results; prepare internal and external reporting deliverables; analyze trends & drivers; understand forecast vs. actual variances. You'll conduct analysis to determine the strategic and financial impact of critical business decisions and help scope new growth opportunities! You'll have ownership of building robust reporting and analytics tools on financial performance to arm all business leaders to make the best possible decisions.

- A demonstrated track record of success academically with experience proactively taking ownership of important projects
- A foundation of analytical skills paired with a desire to work with data sets and compelling business challenges within Accounting and Finance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with the ability to partner with various members across the business
- A self-starter mentality and intellectual curiosity to dig into the work and provide analysis for maximum impact
- A team player who collaborates effectively with humility
- Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- A steady desire and commitment to learning at an accelerated rate, but also wants to knowledge share and contribute diverse ideas to our teams

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.
- Intern Salary: $2,300 paid bi-weekly over the course of 10 week program
