This position requires a blend of advanced technical skills and hands-on experience in cloud operations within dynamic environments. You will be responsible for leading the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based systems, ensuring their reliability and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive the continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure. </p><p>Cloud Infrastructure Management </p><ul><li><p>Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitor and optimize cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and availability. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Oversee the deployment of cloud-based applications and services. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure. </p></li></ul><p>Automation and Scripting </p><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain advanced scripts to automate routine tasks and processes. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robust automation solutions. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure that automation scripts are well-documented and maintainable. </p></li></ul><p>Security and Compliance </p><ul><li><p>Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. </p></li></ul><p>Collaboration and Leadership </p><ul><li><p>Work closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud initiatives. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for cloud systems. </p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: </p><ul><li><p>Technical Expertise – Deep understanding of cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Problem-Solving – Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Communication – Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Leadership – Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and drive cross-functional teams. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Adaptability – Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting to changing priorities. </p></li></ul><p>Minimum qualifications: </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>5+ years of experience in cloud operations or a related field. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proven track record of leading cloud projects and initiatives. </p></li></ul><p>Preferred qualifications: </p><ul><li><p>Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Advanced understanding of networking concepts. </p></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
