About the role

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Retain current clients.</li> <li>Analyze client contracts for insurance purposes and negotiate with underwriters, as needed, communicating findings to other Account Team members, as well as client.</li> <li>Oversee preparation of certificates, as needed, and in accordance with policy terms and limitations. Negotiate additional coverages as required and requested by client.</li> <li>Manage client service work product ensuring compliance of internal standards and procedures.</li> <li>Review all expiring policies with Account Management Team and obtain the updated renewal information from the client, consulting with the Marketing Department, as needed.</li> <li>Prepare and present specifications to underwriters, negotiate for breadth of coverage and competitive pricing. Refer unacceptable results to Account Executive promptly.</li> <li>Prepare accurate proposals.</li> <li>Place coverage, oversee invoicing, and document to client.</li> <li>Assist in account reconciliations, as requested or as needed.</li> <li>Develop and maintain business relationships which will have a high level of integrity, trust, honesty, and creativity.</li> <li>Conduct business with a positive demeanor, demonstrating professionalism in our commitment to service.</li> <li>Communicate with the Account Management Team regarding any potential change, problem, or concern by client or underwriters.</li> <li>Prepare various displays or other documentation, as requested by the Account Executive or client.</li> <li>Adhere to all Parker, Smith &amp; Feek policies and procedures including active participation in PS&amp;F’s commitment to quality management and control.</li> <li>Complete projects upon management’s request.</li> <li>Work with other Account Team members to ensure client needs are met.</li> <li>Proactively assist all Team members in their career development, as well as be available to help all others in their development including effective mentorship.</li> <li>Act as a mentor in the development of other client service staff, taking on the responsibility of training, when requested.</li> <li>Additional projects as requested by management.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Should Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Basic understanding of insurance.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Computer literacy and demonstrated ability.</li> <li>Math aptitude.</li> <li>State of residency Producer’s license</li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Minimum 3 years insurance experience</li> <li>Workin
