Responsible for assessing, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating occupational health care services for employees at assigned on-site facility.
Performs job functions in accordance with Medical Director and Siemens Healthineers policies and work within standing orders, guidelines/protocols. Manage on-site occupational health clinic.
Maintains and safeguards confidentiality of health records and related information.
Manage oversite of the Body Fluid Donor Program which includes but is not limited to review of the annual medical history, review of vital signs and hemoglobin results to determine approval of donor program.
Provides Medical Case Management for Workers’ Compensation Claims, Short Term, Long-Term Disability, FMLA and ADA.
Assess and treat occupational and nonoccupational illnesses and injuries including follow-up.
Provides health services including but not limited to counseling, teaching, immunizations, TB skin tests, and blood pressure checks.
Act as a liaison between physicians, supervisors/managers, HR partners, and the employee to allow early return to work by accommodating work restrictions outlined by the treating physician.
Assists with OSHA log record keeping.
Completes and documents all necessary forms and record keeping in electronic medical record.
Perform or assist with medical surveillance exams.
Works collaboratively with EHS in reviewing, monitoring, and follow-up of employee incident reporting.
Identifies injury/illness trends and recommends interventions to promote effective safety practices.
Draft policy and procedures and make recommendations to management. Develop, provide, or coordinate training and wellness programs.
Check and maintain emergency equipment including oxygen and AED.
Manage medical emergency response team.
Provide superior customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Education, Certificates and Licensure Requirements:
Massachusetts Registered Nurse License (Certified as COHN is preferred)
Clinical experience in occupational medicine preferred.
BLS Certification
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
General familiarity with occupational health, hospital employee health, infection control and safety programs. Knowledge of OSHA requirements and worker’s compensation. Skills in decision making, problem solving, broad knowledge of nursing, case management. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills.

Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop and use hands and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms. May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Required vision abilities are close and distant vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The annual base pay for this position is:
