The Retail Consignor Specialist is a key position in our retail stores at The RealReal. As a Retail Consignor Specialist, you will help drive the business forward by supporting a seamless in-store consignor experience. Our ideal candidate is  client-obsessed, adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about sustainable luxury fashion. • Educate consignors on The RealReal’s mission of sustainable fashion and business structure
• Build brand loyalty by delivering a best in class customer experience
• Clearly communicate our consignment process and set proper expectations with the consignor during drop off
• Carefully review and process all items for shipment, ensuring they are cataloged and up to TRR quality standards
• Ensure product is handled to the highest quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of experience  working in retail or customer service
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• A positive, friendly demeanor with the ability to represent the TRR brand with integrity and professionalism at all times
• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for the customer experience 
• Self-motivation and a drive to achieve results
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
• Adaptability and openness to change
• Receptiveness to feedback to improve performance
• Ability to quickly learn and master new technological tools 

Preferred Requirements

• Proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce

The expected hourly rate for this role is $15.89 - $23.82. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
