Junior Staff Accountant
On-Site | Tarrytown, NY
Salary: $60,000–$65,000 (based on experience)
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to support accounting operations and financial reporting in our Tarrytown, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Perform transaction testing, analytical procedures, and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports using Solomon software
- Review and code vendor invoices; correct AP/AR and GL entries
- Review corporate AmEx expenses and supporting documentation
- Verify and approve payments to disability doctors
- Prepare quarterly and annual P&L reports by location
- Maintain accounting schedules and assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
- 1+ year of accounting experience (3+ years preferred)
