Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Manager, Customer Service to join our Supplier Management team based in Herndon, Virginia; Atlanta, Georgia or Newport Beach, California

You will be part of Airbus Customer Services team made of cross national teams. You will report directly to the Head of Aftermarket Supply Chain & Quality Manager in America. You will work closely with Airbus suppliers based across the United States as well as the Airbus Supply chain teams in Europe. The position will involve an estimated travel ratio of 50% to the supplier facilities.  You will be liaising daily with the supplier’s management and production staff, ensuring the alignment of all actors in order to achieve the required delivery (On Time Delivery (OTD) / On Quality Delivery (OQD)) to Airbus Services (FHS, Satair, Upgrade/Retrofit…) & Airlines. This will involve monitoring, analyzing & reporting of the Key Performance Indicators, and organizing the escalation and main actions plan follow-up  . The role will also require the need to assess the suppliers’ capability/capacity and to identify potential weakness in the industrial processes such as bottlenecks (pacing process), root causes and/or  supply chain issues (including sub-tiers) in order to secure and improve industrial performance.

You will be working closely with Airbus Services (FHS, Satair, Upgrade/ Retrofit…), as well as Procurement and Quality to ensure that the supplier is performing and guarantee customer satisfaction.
