Responsibilities

As the Team Leader Security you will provide operational support to the Security Supervisor, assisting in activities and performance of Security Officers, Dispatchers and Ambassadors to ensure the safety and security of Community Medical Center’s employees, patients, visitors and property. You will provide administrative and technical support as requested. You may be required to train new personnel in department policy and procedure based on the needs of the department. 

Qualifications

Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred Experience• 2 years of security industry experience required• Healthcare security training and experience preferred• Previous experience as a team lead, supervisor, or other formal leadership roles preferred• Previous experience as a Security Officer with Community Health System preferred Licenses and Certifications• DL - Valid California Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Community Health System required• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required• GUARD - State of California Guard Card required CHS HealthStream Course• CPS - OC (Pepper) Spray Endorsement required• TASERCERT - Taser Certification required
