Our Hoosier location in Lakeville, IN is seeking a 1st shift Apparel Associate to join our team.
Job Description
The Apparel Associate will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, with a focus on managing apparel inventory and supporting the logistics needs of the marketing department. This role is responsible for coordinating the preparation, packaging, and shipment of marketing materials and apparel items, as well as managing inventory and order fulfillment processes. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional initiatives and marketing campaigns requiring logistics support.
- Coordinate the embroidery and heat transfer process, including design entry, machine operation and quality control.
- Facilitate and track safety stock, coordinating with the Apparel Manager on reorder dates and quantities.
- Support the Apparel Manager during promotional apparel activities and sales, providing orders and continual stocking updates, as well as assisting with company store inventory.
- Write up orders, monitor inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of received and shipped items.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Pull, prepare, and pack orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Receipt and inspection of new inventory items, verifying quality and quantity.
- General apparel warehouse duties, including organization, cleanliness, and routine equipment maintenance.
- Performing other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the apparel department.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or a similar field is preferred.
- Familiarity with embroidery machines and apparel handling is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work well with others.
- Capable of following written instructions in English and executing tasks accurately.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to lift 20-75 lbs frequently and carry out physical tasks such as bending, climbing, squatting, reaching, and twisting.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work overtime if needed.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, apparel handling, or similar fields is highly preferred.
