Title: Delivery Lead Director

The Delivery Lead Director is the Professional Services leader responsible for collaborating with client and system integrator project executives and leaders on project governance, issues, and risks. This role provides project advice based on their collective implementation experience with Duck Creek. The Delivery Lead Director is accountable for fulfilling Duck Creek Professional Services commitments on client projects.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Oversee and lead teams in delivering large, complex Reinsurance Software projects for clients.

• Meet specific revenue targets within the Professional Services organization.

• Manage day-to-day project activities and deliverables according to the Statement of Work, including schedules, financials, and project change requests to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

• Develop and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project teams, sponsors, CIOs, and key stakeholders.

• Identify and address potential issues and risks that may impact project deliverables, serving as the primary escalation point for project-related activities for the customer.

• Share knowledge and lessons learned, contributing to the improvement of delivery practices.

• Make personnel and staffing decisions for the Professional Services Reinsurance practice, under the global supervision of the Practice Lead to whom the Director, Delivery Lead reports.

• Assume people management responsibilities, including managing direct reports, conducting annual performance reviews, addressing underperformance, and serving as a hiring manager.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

• 15+ years of Project Management / Delivery Lead experience in implementing insurance software applications or in similar industries.

• 5+ years of experience leading the delivery of SaaS-based solutions.

• 5+ years of experience managing globally distributed delivery teams.

• 3+ years of experience facilitating meetings with C-level executives to drive business and technology outcomes.

• Proven experience managing the performance of others.

• Successful track record of leading projects and programs to be on time, on schedule, and within budget.

• Experience in leading, motivating, and managing project teams of various sizes, including both internal and external resources, while holding the team accountable for performance.
