Job Description

Coffman Engineers’ Anchorage office is seeking a Project Administration Assistant. The successful candidate will possess a strong commitment to quality and detail, the ability to function as a team player, and will thrive in our fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supports projects by providing accurate and timely project controls information and reports
• Supports field work activities by making travel arrangements and assisting in logistical support for travel in remote locations
• Provides support of project controls activities for projects including budget, schedules, expenses, and cost forecasts
• Maintains current knowledge of contracts, amendments, and change orders issued for various clients and projects
• Gathers, inputs, and reports cost information that will assist in maintaining projects, contracts, and agreements
• Reviews client safety and training requirements and maintain training and qualification records for client specific work
• Has a willingness to work in the field if necessary

Qualifications

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Understanding of how project controls relates to other company functions such as project accounting, procurement, QA/QC, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Coffman’s stringent requirements
• Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWIC
