Alpha Testing is looking for Environmental Scientist Interns for their Dallas location. As an Environmental Scientist Intern you will be guided through various parts of Phase I and Phase II assessment and collections on diverse types of properties including undeveloped tracts of land, residential properties, commercial/industrial properties.

Alpha Testing is looking for Environmental Scientist Interns for their Dallas location. As an Environmental Scientist Intern you will be guided through various parts of Phase I and Phase II assessment and collections on diverse types of properties including undeveloped tracts of land, residential properties, commercial/industrial properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project research (historical, analytical, etc.)
- Communication with client and subject site representatives
- Data compilation and organization
- Report authoring
- Preparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.)
- Environmental business development, networking and marketing
- Create, prepare and update project proposals and technical reports
- Schedule project testing and other necessary field work
- Perform tests and sampling of environmental materials including, but not limited to Phase I and Phase II site assessments, underground storage tanks (UST) location and removal, soil and groundwater testing
- Complete accurate and detailed field-testing reports and/or diagrams
- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects
- Maintain quality standards on all projects
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in engineering, geology or applied science with an emphasis on environmental from an accredited university
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
