Next Generation Constructive (NGC) Core Product Technical Integrator

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

  • Support the engineering, integration and test tasks of the Next Generation Constructive (NGC) Core product, replacing Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) as the Army’s primary constructive simulation.

  • Acts as primary liaisons to the Army unit at the MTC location, and other NGC stakeholders for the purpose of advancing NGC Core objectives. 

  • Support integration of NGC Core products with Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) battle command systems during large unit command staff training.

  • Facilitate NGC capabilities integration, government cloud environment development, co-development with vendors, software deployment, and cloud migration.

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and documenting automated, regression, interoperability, performance, and cybersecurity tests and managing testing documentation.

  • Support joint and coalition interoperability, Enterprise Cloud CDS integration, and collaboration with government agencies using Agile processes.

  • Facilitate key technical discussions for consensus and establish processes for effective stakeholder communication.

  • Provide help desk and operational support to enable access to build, test, and integrate capabilities.

  • Conduct continuous improvement processes, Test Readiness Reviews, and provide real-time dashboards to track and report performance metrics.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree in IT or related field or equivalent relevant years of experience 

  • Required Experience: Minimum of 15 years of computer experience working independently

  • Required Technical Skills:

    • Must be an expert in Battalion and above, command staff training.

    • Must have 15+ years of Battle Command and/or Constructive Simulation Experience in exercise development and use.

    • Must be knowledgeable of all the Army’s Warfighting Functions as well as integration of Coalition and Allied forces into exercises.

    • Must understand the current state of fielded constructive and virtual simulations and integration with fielded and future (NGC2) MCIS and architecture. 

  • Security Clearance Level: Active Secret Clearance required to start; must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI in a timely manner.

  • Required Skills and Abilities:

    • General knowledge of complex application problems involving all phases of systems administration.

    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills

    • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

    • Ability to multi-task and consistently meet multiple deadlines.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Former Army Simulations Officer (FA 57) or Modeling and Simulation Specialist

    • Corps or Army Service Component Command (ASCC) Staff Experience

    • Technical Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CND, CySA+, etc.).

  • Location: On-site at Fort Leavenworth, KS Mission Training Complex
