We are hiring a Senior Revenue Accountant who will have significant interaction with members of the accounting, FP&A, and sales teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to interpret and apply accounts receivable and revenue accounting principles. This role will support the Head of Revenue Accounting with the responsibilities outlined below.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITES

• Own the billing and invoicing process for North American customers
• Prepare monthly/quarterly AR and revenue close procedures, including AR reconciliations, allowance for doubtful accounts and bad debt expense calculations, and revenue recognition schedules
• Contribute to development, rollout, and continuous improvement of procedures, processes, and internal control documentation
• Assist with managing deliverables for annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors
• Review new revenue contracts for revenue accounting considerations
• Support integration of new revenue streams into existing processes
• Support ad hoc projects as necessary

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in public accounting serving publicly traded clients or a mix of public accounting and public company work experience
• Technology, SAAS, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Experience with SOX 404 and internal controls over financial reporting
• Project management including consistently establishing and meeting timelines
• Ability to learn and understand financial accounting systems/software – experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not required
• Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
