Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's

Hours - 6:25 am until finished

Pay - 20.95/Hr.

Job Description:

• Responsible for setting up equipment, tables, and trash bins in preparation for startup.
• Responsible for housekeeping. trash collection and disposal in the KP department throughout shift and at end of shift.
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack and forklift.
• Must be able to operate trash compactor and cardboard baler.
• Must be willing and able to learn and perform several jobs in the KP area
• Must be willing to be Lockout Tagout certified
•  Monitor production area for trash and debris on floor.
• At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine.
• Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must be willing and able to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat and reach for periods of time on concrete floor
• Promotes safe lifting practices & employee safety.
• Must be willing to pinch/grip product and place into specified location.
• Must be willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to work in the cold (20 degrees to 105 degrees) or damp and wet environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred 6 months gate attendant experience/ Preferred 6 MThs janitorial experience.

Equipment:

• Safety is always FIRST with Tyson Foods and at Tyson all Team Members are expected to practice safety standards, policies, and procedures. As part of our ongoing commitment to safety we assist with providing some of the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and boot reimbursement program! Team members that furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred)
• May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.
• May be provided PPE for additional hearing protection as needed
