Large Corporates Coverage in Corporate Investment Banking Division

About the job:

BBVA Italy is looking for an associate-level banker with 4+ years experience in
Corporate and Investment Banking, ideally with successful current or past
experience in Coverage Department focusing on the large corporate client
relationships in Italy.

The main focus of the candidate will be to support the Senior Bankers in:

• The origination of Corporate and Investment Banking operations, with focus on the documentation draw up and all administrative tasks

• The coverage of existing relationships.

Major/Essential Job Duties:

• Support the Senior Bankers in the origination of Corporate and Investment Banking operations and in the coverage of existing relationships.

• Provide compelling financial and market analysis to support internal proposals for new business opportunities and collaborate in the elaboration of the documentation for internal needs.

• Prepare proposals, presentations and pitches to current and prospective clients.

• Support the team by getting market information, preparing reports and benchmarking analysis.

• Liaise with CIB product specialists in Italy and abroad in order to find new business opportunities.

• Support the Coverage team in registering, modifying and updating business opportunities with clients in internal platforms.

• Support the Coverage team in the KYC process

Qualifications:

• Education: MSc Degree in Finance and/or Economics and/or Accounting.

• Professional Background: at least 4 years experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, ideally successful current or past experience in Large Corporates Coverage in Italy.

• Languages: Italian Native, fluent in English, Spanish is considered a plus.

• Technical skills: good knowledge of accounting, financial and valuation techniques; good numerical and analytical skills. Good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Soft Skills: teamwork and analytical approach; attention to details; proactivity and problem solving attitude; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work under tight deadlines, excellent time management and prioritisation.
