This position is remote within the US. The US base salary range for this position is $115,000 – $140,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

What You’ll Do

  • Research and document complex accounting issues in technical memoranda, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
  • Lead the financial statement audit process, including managing requests and communications with external auditors.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across technical areas (debt, equity, tax, revenue, leases, intercompany transactions, consolidation, FX matters, and carve-out accounting).
  • Contribute to public company readiness projects, including SEC reporting and designing and implementing the SOX program.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance leadership and other departments to provide technical accounting guidance for new products, partnerships, and business initiatives.
  • Support business combinations, purchase accounting, valuations, and integration considerations.
  • Coordinate with our tax provider on tax matters.
  • Provide ad hoc technical accounting support on emerging issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm strongly preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, with demonstrated experience in drafting accounting memos and preparing financial statements.
  • Experience in areas such as debt, equity, revenue recognition, leases, income taxes, inter-company transactions, consolidation, FX matters, and carve-out accounting.
  • Familiarity with public company readiness preferred.
  • Prior experience with SOX and internal controls is a plus.
  • CPA license or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Fintech, Technology, or Financial Services industries is a plus.
  • Experience leveraging AI and technology to streamline key business processes is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems such as NetSuite and Workiva is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex accounting issues into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
