I. Job Summary
Develops and implements the strategic sourcing, inventory provisioning, and vendor relationship strategies essential to WM Compactor Solutions (WMNS). 

 

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Manage a team of Asset and Logistic coordinators. 
  • Procures services throughout 3rd party Vendor networks.  Maintain and cultivates Vendor relationships with manufacturers, technicians, and service providers.
  • Manages the selection, acquisition and monitoring of purchase orders in support of WMCS customers.
  • Works closely with the business and operations to understand their needs and serves as the point of contact for all purchases, deliveries and problems with products and services.
  • Responsible for resolving escalated 3rd party vendor issues.
  • Articulates and negotiates service level agreements.
  • Lead material provisioning for all requirements to support on time delivery and inventory accuracy.
  • Qualifies vendors and maintains an approved vendor database and tracking system.
  • Maintains contact with vendors to manage the status and quality of service and the progress toward contractual commitments.
  • Continually seeks optimal value in service from vendors, reviewing and monitoring performance and return-on-investment metrics and initiating contract modifications.
  • Cultivates, develops and maintains vendor relationships in alignment with WMNS and WM Market area strategies.
  • Pursues new vendor relationships as needed.
III. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.

Experience: Five years of prior work experience (in addition to education requirement).
 

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

None required

 

IV. Work Environment

Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. 

The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $105,000-$120,000 annually. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for our Annual Incentive Program.
