This is a full-time, direct placement for Industria, Inc.

OVERVIEW:

Under direction from the Project Managers, Director of Operations, and/or President, responsible for organizing and leading project management team(s). Includes responsibility for Safety, Quality, project schedule, budget, subcontractor coordination, design management, site logistics and overall outcome of assigned project(s) These roles have potential oversight responsibilities for the other Project Managers, Superintendent, Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager and other project specific staff. Additionally, the person in this role is fully expected to serve as a APM on projects.


Job Description, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • May be assigned to help project managers that lead, manage and complete projects from start to finish.
  • Maintains a high standard of quality control and document coordination
  • Encourages, monitors and supports a positive work environment, engage and remedy individuals not meeting these standards
  • Communicates manpower needs based on schedule milestones to General Superintendent and Executive Staff
  • Coordinates with suppliers, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure project schedules are being driven to completion .
  • Assists with project estimating
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed or require per project specifications.
  • To aid the company's management team on administrative matters when required.
  • To diligently manage company risks and keep Company Management informed of progress and "Hot Issues" related to assigned projects.
  • To assist with all safety and quality control work for ongoing projects
  • Attend regular and special progress meetings for the project or projects assigned.
  • To properly coordinate, maintain and interact with the Senior Project Manager to insure that the project schedule is met and that communication is kept open with all of the subcontractors, field personnel and client on the project.
  • To supervise, monitor and maintain safety standards with all field employees assigned to his projects while work is in progress.
  • To keep the Senior Project Manager informed on a daily base of all field activities and on the procurement of all equipment and materials for his projects.
  • To monitor and participate in the review and approval process of all field related change orders, RFI's and construction drawings.
  • To properly complete and submit the Daily Production Reports to the client and home office on a regular base to conform with project requirements.
  • To review and comply with all company Policies, QAQC and Safety Plans.
  • Composes and prepares submittals for submission to owners / owner’s representatives
  • Processes, coordinates and maintains utility locates
  • Maintains submittal log
  • Maintains submittal folder(s)
  • Maintains material logs (stone, equipment, concrete, testing, survey, etc..)
  • Composes daily reports and distribute to appropriate personnel
  • Composes RFIs and Maintains RFI Folder
  • Updates project as-builts
  • Procures and coordinates equipment and material when necessary
  • Retrieves certified payrolls and monthly EEO reporting forms and submits to the owner/owners representatives respectively
  • Reviews and approves vendor invoices
  • Retrieves, checks conformance and prepares and submit material certifications
  • Identifies, procures and submits necessary samples per the contract specifications
  • Prepares and distributes meeting minutes when necessary
  • Plans, coordinates and/or supervises construction activities of union employees with General Superintendent
  • Ensures that materials, drawings, manpower, specifications, tools, consumables, and equipment are available when needed with General Superintendent
  • Composes three week look ahead schedule(s) once weekly or as needed
  • Prepare and maintains project schedules
  • Prepares change orders
  • Reads and interprets construction plans, standard specifications and project special provisions and updates with RFI, Construction Revisions, Field Participation, etc…
  • Retains a daily log of all on-site personnel, including subcontractors and submit daily reports accordingly
  • Conducts weekly progress meetings with staff and/or subcontractors
  • Enforces contractual obligations for subcontractors and with Owners / Owner’s Representatives
  • Takes daily progress photos and prepares for monthly submission to owner / owner’s representative
  • Executes punchlist items
