Ideally you will 10+ years experience in Product Development in Hedge Funds, Fund Administration, Asset Servicing, Asset Management, Trade execution, Trade Settlement.</strong> This will be a High profile role both internally and externally so you will need to tick all the boxes if you wish to apply.  Whilst we understand that candidates from Financial Services or Insurance Industry may have the required skillset, we will only respond to applications from  <strong>Hedge Funds, Fund Administration, Asset Servicing, Trade execution, Trade Settlement.</strong></p><p>As the Director of Product Management for Public Markets, you will be responsible for leading the product strategy, development, and delivery of innovative service offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the products are aligned with internal as well as external stakeholders and market trends.</p><p>Your expertise in the Fund Services industry will be crucial to identify new opportunities, establish product roadmaps in collaboration with our leaders, and drive business growth. You will also lead and develop a team of product managers and work closely with executives to align the product vision with MUFG Investor Services overall strategy.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Reporting to the Head of Product Management, Public Markets You Will:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Responsible for all activities related to the development of new products and/or features and functionality of products including developing business cases, requirements definition (BRDs), product enhancement innovation, feature and functionality definition based on market and industry research trends and client need</li><li>This role will also lead innovation strategy, define and manage product development processes, scope product releases, identify new opportunities to address business priorities, incorporating regulatory and compliance requirements and investment tracking</li><li>Ensures product offering is competitive in service, functionality &amp; price</li><li>Explores products / propositions addressing clients’ end to end needs, including services with respect to pre and post onboarding</li><li>Support the design of our IBOR &amp; Middle, Back office inhouse solutions</li><li>Guide the product engineering team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies (e.g., agile methods) and best practices (e.g., reusability)</li><li>Determine internal and contract/external resources and skills required for the product team to deliver on the product road map</li><li>Support other product managers and areas as needed</li><li>Share leadership role with Operations in the development of processes and best practice standards that will be applied either to the Global support team or other functions leveraging Debt Services applications or tools.</li><li>Collaborate with Client Servicing teams to ensure consistency of service delivered.</li><li>Support the business development team to attract new business and onboard to the Target Operating Model.
