A Day in the Life

Medtronic is seeking a Quality Technician III to join our team in Danvers, MA. This role is ideal for someone with strong microscope-based inspection experience and a solid grasp of Microsoft Excel for documentation. You’ll be supporting one-time builds and custom product inspections, playing a key role in ensuring quality and compliance in the development of new products.

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (8 hour shifts, with negotiable start time)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct detailed microscope inspections of tubing and related components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Perform a variety of qualitative and quantitative tests on samples, including non-conformance testing of manufactured, packaged, or tested products.
    • Accurately document inspection results and quality data using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
    • Support custom and one-time builds by ensuring quality assurance protocols are followed.
    • Maintain and certify test instruments and apparatus, ensuring proper function and calibration.
    • Review production records for procedural compliance and prepare quality reports and statistics.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold and continuously improve quality standards.

    Minimum Requirements (Must Have!)

    • 4 years related work experience, including 2+ years experience in a quality inspection or technician role.
    • Proficiency in microscope inspection techniques.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office tools.
    • Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical device, biotech, aerospace).
    • Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, or similar quality standards.
    • Previous experience as a Quality Control Team Lead or in a leadership capacity.
    • Background in final inspection or public control roles.
