This position serves as the Functional Expert of Accounts Payable for the Department of Innovation Technology (DoIT). DoIT is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to be part of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program. The vision of the DoIT ERP Program is to streamline administrative functions and improve efficiency of government operations. Our program includes finance, data analytics and human capital management. The DoIT ERP Finance division is an exciting, fast paced program which serves the financial and accounting needs of 77 State of Illinois agencies. This position will serve as an Accounts Payable Functional Expert throughout the lifecycle of the Enterprise Resource Planning Program and will be focused on further enhancements, design and implementation of the accounts payable module. In addition to these activities, the Accounts Payable Functional Expert will provide continuing support to agency users and updates to the system due to changes in practices, policies, rules and statutes. The Accounts Payable Functional Expert will work in conjunction with DoIT ERP leadership, state agency subject matter experts, and system implementation and production support staff.
