The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Part-time Student - Manufacturing Engineering Tech for John Deere Reman located in Springfield or Strafford Missouri you will….

 

• Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices; learns company manufacturing procedures and processes.
• Executes tooling and methods test or analysis for process development, documentation and implementation.
• Evaluates possible process design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on knowledge of manufacturing processes and applications.

 

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
 

What Skills You Need

 

• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics or Manufactuing Engineering or Technology; others may apply
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
• Graduation date of 2027 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
• Available to work during the academic year 16 to 20 Hours a week
• Available to work during the summer semester 20 to 35 Hours a week
• Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
