About the role

Los Angeles-based Internet Brands is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. This position will report to the Account Payable Manager and have broad exposure working on many different tasks for a dynamic and growing company. Responsibilities:

Assists with the month-end closing process.
Uses popular accounts payable software.
Is part of a team to record all accounts payable transactions.
Investigates accounts payable issues as needed.
Builds relationships with vendors and other departments.
Assists in training new accounts payable staff.
Assists in onboarding new accounts payable staff.
Ensures payments are made accurately and on time.
Helps in developing accounts payable processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or economics, preferred.
1 - 2 years of AP experience preferred, but not necessary.
Working knowledge of ERP systems, working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (GP) a plus.
Experience with T&E processing and reporting a plus.
Strong skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
Self-starter and detail-oriented.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and multi-task.
Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to perform efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
