We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will support core accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and month-end close. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, high-growth environment. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and internal reports. 

  • Maintain the general ledger . 

  • Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy. 

  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance documentation. 

  • Contribute to process improvements and accounting system enhancements. 

  • Process and verify invoices for payment in accordance with company policies. 

  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide adhoc financial reports. 

  • Support month-end and year-end close, including balance sheet, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. 

  • ensure accurate recording of transactions in accordance with GAAP. 

  • Reconcile vendor accounts, process invoices, and assist with accounts payable functions as needed. 

  • Reconcile bank and credit card  

  • Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation. 

  • Process payroll and prepare payroll journal entries  

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance 

  • 3 - 5 years' experience in accounting 

  • Has full cycle accounting background  

  • Experience in Revenue cycle management in the healthcare sector is preferred 

  • Strong understanding GAAP. 

  • Proficiency or familiarity in accounting software; experience with Workday and ADP is a plus. 

  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. 

  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements. 

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Effective communication skills for vendor interactions and internal collaboration. 

  • Experience in high growth company (e.g. high transaction volume or multi entity) 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Has experience with healthcare services
