Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking an accomplished Principle Network Engineer with multi-network technologies and technical leadership experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Supervises creation of complex engineering solutions for new or enhanced technology and the integration of solutions and services.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Extrahop Primary Platform SME & operational management

• Technical & Risk owner/liaison for Extrahop CARID

• Primary resource for internal Extrahop Training & peer-to-peer coaching

• Building contents customization (Dashboards, triggers, groups, filters etc)

• Troubleshooting/INC engagement

• Assisting NAA, packets analysts, Network & Security Engineering

• Dynamic Infrastructure built/architecture sync-up

• NDR primary resource for ISS

Basic Qualifications

-Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 7 years experience with managing day-to-day delivery of satisfactory network services to clients.
-At least 7 years experience within a total Information Technology (IT) environment.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Extrahop and/or Wireline-Analytics tools in-depth knowledge & experience

• Network Application & Performance engineering experience (Broadcom’s DXNetOps/NetFlow/Spectrum, NetBrain, SevOne etc)

• Network protocols (TCP/IP, TLS) in-depth knowledge, Data, Voice networks

• Network packets analysis (Wireshark) experience

• Packets decryption methodology

• API programming knowledge and experience is a plus

• Packet broker (such as Gigamon) knowledge and experience is a plus

• Extensive experience in: SDAN Infrastructure, Wireline analytics, Software Defined Network/SDN Data Center Infrastructure (Cisco ACI), SDWAN Infrastructure (Versa), System software infrastructure, Application Infrastructure, Contingency and disaster recovery

• Experience with Tools/Applications: Sniffers, TAPs, Packet Brokers, Wireshark, ExtraHop, Netscout nG1, Broadcom’s DXNetOps/NetFlow/Spectrum, NetBrain, Infoblox/Bluecat, Cisco ACI/APIC

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
