Research Engineer I, S2

The Research Engineer I, Step 2 will assist in the development of several projects within the iCUBED laboratory in the Research Institute. They will lead groups of undergraduate students in the design and development of key subsystems for the experiments and spacecraft being developed in the laboratory.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Coordinate the development of missions within the iCUBED laboratory
• Supervise undergraduate students that are developing subsystem designs for the iCUBED laboratory missions
• Assist iCUBED laboratory management and RI management as needed to support the development of additional projects in the iCUBED laboratory

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of full-time verifiable work experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Previous experience leading a team developing a spacecraft design
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with a large team
