Job Description

The Senior Manager, G&A is a critical finance leadership role that will involve partnering with Digital Technology Chief of Staff and Business Operations to drive impactful FP&A insights on a $600M plus annual budget. This role will also drive process improvements across all G&A functions that align to Corporate Transformation objectives.

ServiceNow is seeking someone who is passionate about process improvement, driving efficiency, and influencing business decisions for optimal financial results.

What you get to do in this role:  

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Digital Technology Organization. In addition to traditional IT spend (laptops, infrastructure, software applications, hardware etc) this group drives security initiatives, customer and employee experiences, and partners on development of product for external sale
  • Drive executive level presentation materials that inform senior leaders of variance root causes, mitigation strategies and required business decisions
  • Partner with Security Operations to enhance growth modeling assumptions and predictability. Drive business alignment on key assumptions
  • Identify leading indicators of over/under spend and share with business partners who can drive timely corrective actions
  • Champion involvement with cross functional finance initiatives and enable direct staff to participate in projects that give them personal growth opportunities
  • Spearhead transparency on cross functional business priorities to ensure required Digital Technology project resources are accurately scoped
  • Shift internally developed software financial modeling from excel to power bi process owned by Center of Excellence
  • Partner with Digital Technology leaders to support migration to zero based budgeting driving flexibility, focused operations, and more disciplined execution
  • Actively investigate best practices for leveraging available tools to increase speed and transparency of financial results to business partners
  • Adapt existing business processes to Corporate Transformation standardization initiatives.
  • Manage, inspire, develop and retain a high performing team

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in finance with increasing responsibility, including experience supporting a large-scale organization
  • Ability to influence at all levels and develop strong cross functional relationships
  • Highly analytical, fact driven, process orientated, and comfortable challenging the status quo and setting new strategic/operational direction
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, including strong communication and ability to distil complex processes into digestible insights
  • Understanding of data modeling and analysis, and experience creating Power BI models and business views that resonate with business users
  • People management experience
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience
  • High energy and a desire to work in a result-oriented, dynamic fast growth environment
